I usually don't write reviews, but this trap works so very, very well that I had to "spread the love". We've caught 6 squirrels in less than 3 weeks with this trap. I read elsewhere that the trap should be placed on a flat surface with a heavy item on the top to keep the trap upright. Also read that peanut butter works well. We've followed all of this advice and have had immediate success!
We relocate the squirrels approximately 15+ miles from our home in a densely wooded area and have had no problems with the squirrels scampering away at full speed once we let them out of the trap.

Some squirrels were coming through a hole in my wall & building a nest in my home. This trap worked like a charm. Note: the best thing to bait these traps when dealing w/ squirrels is peanut butter. They simply can't resist it. Remember, never release a squirrel in your neighborhood after you catch it even if you plugged the original hole up. It wont help. They'll come back w/ vengeance, trust me. The only 2 options you've got is either killing it or releasing it 10 miles from your home. I used to think squirrels were cute.
