After waging a war against voles all summer I'm finding the Victor Tin Cat better than wooden or plastic snap traps, glue traps or bait stations. Baited with a bottle cap full of peanut butter, they are producing results,thanks.

After a wet year in the Australian desert mice numbers are growing fast along with native marsupials (such as the spinifex hopping mouse, dunnart or planigails etc). We wanted to catch the feral mice without hurting any natives and bought a few types of live catch traps including yours and the wind up type. Yours has proved by far the better for the small mice we are seeing. It is very easy to use and to see the catch. In this case the simple design is the best.
